It's really hard to take a picture of a page out of Time Magazine without glare. In my effort to adjust the color and contrast to minimize the glare, I overdid it a bit. I will post a picture of my painting alone below. This is John McCain, my first attempt to paint a man. Men are harder to paint than women.

I see that with McCain and Laura Bush I have painted two Republicans. I will try to find a Democrat to paint to balance things out.


This is the scanned version. It's more true to color.

You should do Obama. I'm sure you could find lots of pictures of him right now.

I intend to do a portrait of Obama. I think he would make a good subject. In the meantime, I'm working on another famous democrat soon to be revealed!
